The article states that with a stock engine, they hit a peak hp of 643 when the rpms were allowed to increase to 7400. The 620 hp was at 6500 rpms, the stock red line.

Got it back yesterday. In addition to the gage, the dealership had to replace the bezel that all switches are attached to because they scratched it when removing the gage face plate. The new plastic bezel comes with all the switches attached and.....are you reaady for this?.......cost $3,200...

Well, we were right. It was a mechanical failure. Dealer is installing a new gage. I'll let you know how it turns out.

I am thinking about replacing spark plugs. Does anyone know the correct socket size for replacing the plugs? Also, does this process require a torque wrench? If so, what setting? Thanks.

As I understand, it turns on the cooling fans at a lower temp and also starts the coolant (both engine and inter cooler) pumps at lower temps. There are also manual choices for tire size, gearing, etc. You can contact HP at 904-276-7223 for more details.

I just talked to the Ford Racing guys. They say they have a Ford GT Power Pack that contains a tune, pulley and some kind of calibration tool. The part number for the complete kit is M-2005GT. It retails for $999. Does anyone know anything about this kit? Size of pulley? Tune? HP and Tq...
