I wanted to start a thread specifically about this. I have seen a couple of different "blurps" but has any of our more technical members experimented with this?

I am planning on a mix like CobraR recommends unless there are dissenting views about this?

Your goal is to get to about 20-25% coolant rather than 50/50 , then add the water wetter. I think the system holds about 7.5 gallons of a 50/50 mix. If you do a little math on the dilution you should be able to suck out what you need. Then refill with water and 2 bottles of water wetter. Pulling from the tank should avoid the need to bleed the system.

Yeah I know... Coolant (I was a little to fast with the "submit" button)

I guess a lot of what you do depends on the climate. In southern California you can get away with almost anything. In Minnesota you probably have to be careful. Texas, I guess you have a little leeway.

That will work just fine; distilled versus tap water would be the only other item that I like to use.

NOTE ***** This is based on "NO" concerns for extreme cold otherwise remain with the OEM mix percentages.

Just ordered the springs from Accufab. I will follow the procedure recommended by Shadowman.

I the next few days I will by flushing the cooler systems and putting the Accufab springs in and 20% coolant 4 bottles of water wetter, and distilled water. In my area distilled water is probably not needed, since the water is relatively soft.

You might shoot for deionized and distilled water.

Once you go to a 75/25 water/coolant mix, how much water wetter do you put in?

The RedLine Water Wetter is sold in small 12oz bottles; 2 in the primary cooling system and if your are also flushing the intercooler system then add one in this system

Now this is what I do and suggest to others based on my comment earlier in this thread.

All the best
