    toggle switch lights

Yes I believe that they are LEDs, Based on losing 3 now in 18 months I am not sure it is worth the $ to replace them but I hate having nonfunctional items in the car!!

Check the date code before you buy them, when I last checked they were 4 or 5 years old at tire rack.

I had the same issue that just started a few weeks ago, really bugged me how it just started happening after 4 years. Anyway Shadowman walked me through the procedure and all is well! Have blue tape on hand:biggrin Thanks again Shadowman! Derry

    OEM Goodyears

My big concern that started me looking for alternates (ended up with Bridgestones and love them) is that Goodyear has not made a production run in years and the best I could find at Tirerack was tires that are 5 years old. That is too old for me to be comfortable. Derry

    Very happy with Bridgestone tires

I did not use the 265 only because they are .5 inches smaller in diameter and I wanted to stay as close to stock heights as I could especially in the front, Buffalo Ny has some nasty road holes in spots.

    Very happy with Bridgestone tires

Have not measured any speedo difference yet but the dia. change is about a quarter of an inch in the rear only. Given normal wear allowed I cannot believe it will be much. I will check though.

    Very happy with Bridgestone tires

I know this has been talked about but just wanted to say WOW what an improvement! Put 234/45-18 Potenza on the front and 345/35-19 Potenza on the back. Better ride, grip and noise. Used stock BBS rims. Derry

Thanks Richard, re-reading the rating site at Tire Rack again I see you are quite correct. I did not previously understand the Y vs (Y) designation. Derry

Preparing for 185+ mph speeds safely...

I have read good things on the Bridgestones, but they are rated with a Y speed rating which is up to 186 MPH vs the Goodyears being ZR rated for over 186 MPH. Again I am not an expert but is there a realistic difference in technology between the two? Derry

Preparing for 185+ mph speeds safely...

In this thread tires and tire pressure have been mentioned several times. I am very concerned about age of the tires. I have not been able to locate a set of stock Goodyears that is new. Most have date codes that are at least 4 years old now. 200 MPH on 4 or 5 year old rubber seems risky but I...
