I attended a big car show yesterday in Fort Worth. Finally a nice day without rain! "Wheels for Wellness" benefited cancer awareness. Handed out some NFGT toys. Fortunately no die casts were dropped on my car :lol
Won an award. Got busted for excessive displays of speed and Race Red.

Last week I trailered my new GT from Scottsdale, AZ to Atlanta, GA to attend the GT Forum gathering at Road Atlanta for the last IMSA race of the season. This morning I’m taking it to the Penske Auto Museum for a private reception of auto enthusiasts to watch today’s Formula One race on their big screen monitors. Should be fun.

Busy weekend planned since the Fall cooler weather has come to Texas! Yesterday made a 235 mile trip to Columbus, Texas to the Charlie Thomas Ranch so eat Barbecue and see his 300 plus car collection. Charlie is a legendary car dealer from Houston and is a former owner of the Houston Rockets. Tomorrow morning I make the Car Culture invited Car Display in the Houston Galleria then off to the TEXAS MILE in Victoria, Texas to be with our buddy Mark Heidaker Of M2K Motorsports and hopefully see a new record in the mile run of his Ford GT. My Girl will be sucking up the cool air and turning heads, and does she love the cool weather. Stay tuned for pictures to come from all three events! Everyone have a great GT weekend!

Beautiful day here in DFW. I took a nice 150 drive in the NFGT. Went to a neat car event sponsored by Ford and Shelby American. The car show was held at the new Dallas Cowboys training facility, The Ford Center at The Star. It benefitted the Salvation Army. Nice collection of Shelby Cobras and Mustangs. I had the pleasure of meeting Aaron Shelby and Jim Owens from Ford Performance. Aaron had his liquid metallic blue car on display. He graciously gave me a signed model of a red Heritage. Note that it's a 2017 prototype

Went to first C+C at Gateway Classic Cars. The home office is very close to my house. One of StormCat's friends showed up. Sorry AJB your favorite was a no show. I didn't know it was trunk or treat but the kids liked the car anyway. It was the star today and was invited to the company Xmas party in December.

Trifecta weekend started Thursday then this morning bright and early Super Car breakfast in the Galleria with 70 of the finest Super Cars in Houston. At 10:00am haded South to the Texas Mile shoutout with 400 of the fastest cars and motorcycles in the country. For those interested I put 600 miles on my GT since Thursday and does she love this cool Texas weather. Fun time today with our fast member Mark Heidaker and his crew at M2K Motorsports. 10 cent transmission part kep them busy rebuilding their transmission after their attempted first run. Shake down this afternoon and hopefully a better run early tomorrow. Most of the Texas Milers had never seen a New Ford GT lots of pictures were taken and fun time with the crowd. A Great event in Texas! Enjoy the pictures!

On to the Texas Mile in Victoria, Texas! This was the first time Mark had seen a new Ford GT and while he wouldn’t drive mine, I did get him to sit in it and went over all the details. I just hope I didn’t confuse him more than he was! With all the colors and combinations I’m glad I don’t have to make the choice as he does. His order is due any day! You talk about a setup for mile racing wow. His team literally rebuilt a GT transmission in their trailer by hand with no pullers or fancy tools! Wishing them luck in the morning. As we all know he’s so close to 300 MPH! Enjoy the pictures of my fast moving three days.imlove it.
