Anyone else experiencing long delays in shipment? I ordered at least 3-4 weeks ago and have seen nothing?

My wife is getting sick of me coming home and asking if "The Buttons" came in.

I guess I'll dig up my online receipt and reach out to them?

Mine took several weeks. I was one of the VERY first to order and just got mine last week. Must say, they are WORTH THE WAIT. Hope you guys get them before the rally, but if not, you can look at mine! :biggrin

Got mine yesterday. 3 weeks from order date (but I am overseas).

I must say they look stunning. And on a Quicksilver car... FANTASTIC.

Got my buttons yesterday, fitted them yesterday and they look great. This must make me the first European to have them fitted on the car, so hurry up Matteo you better get your finger out, get home and fit them!

Probably the same vendor, you can blame customs for about 2 to 3 days of delay, sometimes more. My buttons took about 1 week from shipment to delivery to CA. Well worth the wait, considering how long we have waited for them since we owned the cars.

How does customs work? Trent (Not4N) shipped my number roundels from Canada yesterday FedEx and I recieved them today. Same overnight delivery as in the states. Does customs inspect everything?

This is my guess. They usually don't do anything, but they do have the option of opening the box to see if what is inside matches the written description on the outside. If they decide to pull your box a delay will occur.

From my experience it is usually a clearence delay which means the paperwork isn't the way they would like to see it. We ship alot to the US from our aircraft division and they are always AOG (rush) so we include NAFTA forms with proper harmonization codes as well as commercial invoices along with the carrier's bill of lading. If all of this paperwork matches the freight gets through and very seldom do they hold it up.

Just like a good cook - it's all in the preperation:thumbsup

FedEx and UPS have their own internal customs agents that's why their stuff gets thru faster usually.

Ok - now I'm worried. Found my receipt of payment on 8/7 and still nothing to date. I emailed Exoticare to see what's going on.

I'm thinking I'm not getting these prior to the Rally - bummer.

Note the oil dip stick a source of rattle that at speed make a noise which is hard to pin-point. Just with your fingers tap it around and you may find your self saying ah hah that's the noise I have been hearing. Easy fix with a tighter o-ring.

Thanks for the tip. I'm hard of hearing and the Heffner pipes seem to mask most creaks, rattles and moans.

I know all of us want our hot buttons yesterday, me included. Throughout this process as well as that involving the special key covers, Andrew Revai ALWAYS responded to my numerous emails very quickly.

Got mine last Friday ordered on the first day the link was up. Be patient guys, they will come. Biz address's seam to be more subject to scrutiny, but hey, you would be glad if customs checked if it had some bad chemical in it.

Got my order yesterday and installed them. I think they look great and transformed the look of the car. Excellent!

Included in the box is a nifty set of white gloves. All I need now is some lotion. :lol

Mine came in the post yesterday, with little white gloves. Assume this is to prevent "skin oil" from discoloring the metal roundels, as my prostate exam isn't due quite yet.
Your car looks terrific...the no-stripe look is stunning (I'm more than a little biased!) and the seat inserts really set off the interior.
How comfy is the seating, now that you've done this install?
