Incidentally, I was worried about scratching the inside of the plastic inserts of the seat because the tassels most inner edges are a bit sharp. I tried to put them in with a piece of plastic baggy as a condom, but the plastic acted as a lubricant and they turned instead of fitting snuggly in place. Make sure you follow Shadowman's 12 & 3 o'clock positioning when you install and for what it's worth, some are more snug than others. Overall, I give them an honest 9 out of 10 and have no regrets.:thumbsup:thumbsup

Whipple, Cooltech Cooler, Bridgestone Scudderias and a new set of testicles:biggrin. The car is in many of the C&C Ford Irvine events. I'll see if I can find a link or you can google it.

The hot buttons' destination is Kendall's garage in CA. They have 5 days before we arrive in LAX and 8 before taking off to LAS.

Hey Wally, thanks for the pix and the PM! I really appreciate all of the TLC and the incredible attention to detail that you and Kendall always lavish on my gal.

Now, listen to this: As usual, I provided a long list of TO DOs to get my gal into shape for the Rally. I got so excited about the Whipple, Freeflyer boost gauge, Kip CF stuff, new shoes and all, that I completely forgot about mentioning the little shakes and rattles she's developed over the last year. Well, did I need to point it out? No!

I received a detailed update from Wally but below addresses those items I never even mentioned.

"One note : We noticed where some odd sounds or vibes may have been coming from:

The rear lower screen looked to have ben slightly bent from the diffuser rub. Back in position now, no harm was done. About a 10 second fix. Done

The left top clam vent is loose, looks like one of the plastic studs broke away. I think he can fix it with a thin piece of body panel tape. You will never see it and the vents are not warped. This is what I would do to get rid of any vibration. Kendall will talk to you about this easy fix.

If any of you need to have anything done, I can't recommend Kendall & Wally more highly. :thumbsup

Anyone else experiencing long delays in shipment? I ordered at least 3-4 weeks ago and have seen nothing?

My wife is getting sick of me coming home and asking if "The Buttons" came in.

I guess I'll dig up my online receipt and reach out to them?

Note the oil dip stick a source of rattle that at speed make a noise which is hard to pin-point. Just with your fingers tap it around and you may find your self saying ah hah that's the noise I have been hearing. Easy fix with a tighter o-ring.
