Although the holes were rather small, they had to count them all...Now they know how many holes it takes to fill the Albert Hall....I'd love to turn you on :club Excellent engineering Bill & Andrew :thumbsup

Wally was kind enough to give his extra set up to me as mine has yet to arrive. As everyone has said, they look outstanding; however, quite a few of the buttons just fall in and pull right out - no tension whatsoever. Anyone concerned about them falling out?

OK, now that I've picked my jaw up from the hotel desk where I'm staying. No sooner than I posted the above, I received the following email from Andrew. I told you guys that he's a great communicator!

Hi Kelvin!

I just read about your rings install on the forum.

How many pieces dropped in loose and who's buttons did you get as they shouldn't drop in as easy as you are describing and should not be able to be pulled out loosely

I want to isolate the batch and send you replacement rings

Please advise

Thanks

Andrew

Talk about service! I, now, have no concerns whatsoever and am confident that this will be resolved one way or another.

Now if Andrew will only take over Canada Post from the Gov.

I just got this message from one of the receptionists!

Woo hoo! After a tough week (yes, I know it's only Monday), something like this REALLY MAKES MY DAY!

Gotta love the GT. Constant source of happiness and sanity!

Any tips / tricks for the install?

I'm going to go pick them up soon...

Syco, just in time for the Rally! Note there is a small blemish where the anodizing electrode was connected. When installing you should rotate them so that it is not normally visible.

On a few buttons I found small blemishes in 2 locations...

But, unnoticeable from a distance. I rotated out the larger blemish.

Thanks for the install tips BlackIce and Wally.

Okay, it's time for me to pack now...

I just did one seat, since the other has a seat cover, it's the one that has a child seat in it sometimes, and tomorrow will be loaded with duffel bags and snacks.

*** FOLLOW UP ***

With Rally III mechanically behind us and most if not of the gals back home I just want to make certain that everyone received their seat buttons. If any one has not please let me know.

I know that a few of the packages were not received in time for the Rally and for this both Andrew and I apologize.

In addition I wanted to shared that for those folks that missed out on them all together another modest batch of them are being packaged at this time as such will be ready for shipping early in the week.

Hi Bill,

I love my buttons. There were a few that fit too loose, but Andrew sent me some replacements that fit great. I had to do some test drives out of the car this week. Any studies on the increased horse power? My car seems faster with the new buttons!

You think you're faster with all the buttons on. Wait until you remove every 3rd button moving from the 5th row counting from the left side! That's is the top secret FGT launch sequent handed down from Mr. Ford himself....... You should try it right away! :rofl
