It's things like this that makes me believe in divine intervention. I drove 15 hours yesterday, the last 6 of which were through Harvey. Torrential rains and 40-50 mph cross winds combined with hundreds of miles on two lane shoulder-less roads made the trek quite interesting to say the least! God speed.

Well I guess we'll be the last ones home from Rally 12. Guess where we still are? Flying this afternoon to Austin and rent a car and drive to Texas City late tonight. Can't get to Houston Hobby until Sat.-Sunday so heck with it. Looks like everyone got home safe even if on 3 trailer tires. My GT was at Shelby's (Arkansas)yesterday, Austin sometime today and home tomorrow. Our 4 day Rally 12 trip turned into an extended stay but were returning to a safe dry home unlike many of our friends. Sue and I will be hitting the gym and enrolling in AA upon our return. No Tito's or Wine left at this hotel! Can't wait to finish breaking my New GT in soon. My girl has traveled around 6,000 miles by transport and will arrive home with 400+ miles on her. Have already been contacted by Houston Coffee & Cars to feature her at their biggest display yet benefiting HPD Officers recovery fund for their tireless work and rescue in the Houston area. We're already looking forward to our next adventure with our GT Forum friends soon!

Glad to hear that you and Sue are arriving to an intact home and your car will be there soon. My family in the Houston area also escaped flooding of their homes. G-d bless. Hope to see the both of you soon, or at least at the next rally.

We got home at midnight last night to a cool, comfortable no problem home and all is well. Our Girl arrived ahead of us and is sniffling in at my Man Cave. We're headed to pick up Dukie Man at the kennel and all is well. Now to help our friends Less fortunate. Thanks,to all!

One GT in front of me took a nice spin at Knock Out coming out of turn 6. I don't believe that was the only one. I almost went off there twice before deciding I was not going to master it. Weird turn. It was like somebody cut the edge of the track off. Everything is fine, and then suddenly you're looking at gravel.
The white company car. It looked to me like only a few got a ride.
Pete felt the need to get lower.

Cracked bulkhead window and the top trim of the rear window flew off. Someone saw it on the track.
