Would it be fair to assume MSRP to be close to the 2005 model?

Welcome. Please read the multitude of threads on price speculation. It won't even to be close to MSRP of the 05/06 cars.

Nothing unfair about it, but it would be wrong. Probably 100K over that might be closer, and good luck trying to get one for MSRP with a total production run of 1200.

I don't believe production numbers have been announced yet have they?

May be mistaken but I thought it was 300 per year for four years starting in 2016.

Way less volume, way higher price. Won't even remotely be in the ballpark of the 05/06.

I speculate that DBK knows more about pricing and volume than anyone else

I am betting any takers a beer at next rally that base MSRP will be $300k +/- $25k.
Of course, I am usually wrong - either way someone gets a beer!

With the announcement of the new Ferrari and it likely being the new price/performance benchmark over the 458 Speciale, and with Speciales coming in closer to 350K i'll be the new 488 is closer to 400K. That doesn't bode well for a 200K Ford GT.

Believe it or not but the base F488 is suppose to be just a little over the F458 which is $275,900. My guess on the base F488 MSRP will be $290,00. Yes, you can bling it out with a ton of options for more money. The new FGT won't have an option list like the F-car. I still stand my estimate of the FGT MSRP being $275K-299K.

400 k out the door. Promise. No F488 is going out the door for less than 365K. The base price on a Ferrari does't include a damn thing. No new 458s left the door last year less than 330k and thats the OLD model. The Aventador is a 440K car. 395K - 410K. Of course thats before dealer markups.

Anyone here want to be me one will sell for 750K early on to someone that HAS to have one no matter what expense?

My take is if <300 they will all sell w/o problems.

And if >400k early adopters only for years 1 & 2.

At >400k, the competitors will all have something "new and very special" in the market with on 24 months.

In the end, it's how they roll the dice at Ford.
