I don't. While it may be the most valued, many owners appreciate the color on someone else s car. I would never own a baby blue and pastel orange car. Just not my thing.
How about
the same pattern in the colors of your choice? :wink
Strangely enough, Heritage paint
on a FGT isn't really my thing either. I don't
completely dislike it by any means. 'Not even close. But pastels in general just aren't my 'thing'. It wouldn't have been worth $10K for me to have ordered that option back in the day, if you get my meaning. However, that paint scheme
on a GT40???! Oh, yeah! :willy In fact, it's really the
only paint for a '40 IMHO (but, the car
also has to have the decals). The diff here lies in the
size of the two cars, I think. The FGT's extra 10% of 'mass' makes it too big of a 'canvas' for that much pastel paint.
All that said, regardless of its size, the NFGT looks k-i-l-l-e-r in Heritage...at least in Ed's post anyway! I believe that's probably because there's just so much other 'visual stuff' going on everywhere on the car's body that one doesn't even notice the fact that the paint is pastel.
Again; all just MHO.
Have we all sufficiently beaten this subject to death now? :lol
Edit: 'Just saw Gene's post. He already suggested the 'color' thing! :biggrin
... Maybe if the gulf colors were metallic and the blue like the show car!!
