What a weekend!!!

GO RAY GO!!!!! :thumbsup

Gentlemen,

I can't describe how fun this event has been. Watching Jason's crew work under the canopy of Ray's semi is just like being at an F1 paddock. I'll do a full write up later when I get home.

UPDATE - Ray just went 249.7, a new Texas Mile record!!!

Yesterday afternoon I walked down to the trailer setup of Ray and Jason to find 7-8 mechanics working and 3-4 additional computer techs working on electronic setups with Dave Bannister in his crew. I felt in the way as everyone was working hard to prepair the SECRET SAUCE for the GT and a Viper they are racing. Wow what a set up and crew, with even a crew member cooking hotdogs on the biggest pit I've seen. Serious business ar the Texas Mile. I'm sure we will hear more from this PRO TEAM during today. I have to go to my office to send pictures soon. Tomy Hamon

Headed home.

Veronica had a 2:00 flight out of San Antonio so I had to load up after my 2nd run today. Mullet, DBK, Ray, and Jason Heffner all gave me a few tips on how to run faster. I let it all hang out and posted a 220.1 MPH run! What a rush! A great way to finish one of the best weekends ever.

3 more mph out of Rays car will make it even better.

I love my Heffner TT.

good for you man !

Wow Chip, stay tuned Members its getting better. The TESTOSTERONE AND THE BLUEBONNETTS ARE IN FULL BLOOM AT THE TEXAS MILE TODAY. Chip is probably unloading his GT to make a last run and he has to get Veronica to the airport in San Antonio this afternoon. After 218 Chip was loading up when Dave told him to make one last run and he did and hit 220+. Tomy Hamon

I'm not there but probably soon. I wonder if the two top dogs are going for another run to top the 252.97 from Miami?

Wow, even though I'm thousands of miles away, this is SO EXCITING!!!! Congrats to everyone that topped 200, and especially to Ray, come on man, bust out the record!!!! and to Chip, our esteemed moderator shows that he knows just when to set moderation aside!!! Beauty run Chip. Congrats on 220+!!!

Matt we were hopeing the Performancepower white/blue GT would have pulled in Yesterday as the GT's stole the show. Tomy Hamon PS You truly represent the GT Group well!

Man they need to start televising this thing live!! This thing is damn exciting with numbers just going up and up!! :thumbsup

It would definitely be better viewing than the movie I took the wife to for the last couple hours. :ack

Congrats to Peak and everyone who represented the GT's so well. We will toast you in Vegas tonight!! :cheers

its about time that the gt starts ruling the mile, I knew it all along, just a matter of time before it happened, we just needed some crazy gt owners that would step up to the plate and take care of business, and it seems like that has happened in both parts of the country, so now we have a record setter in florida and a record setter in texas. gt rules the country right now, we just need another gt in california to rule, so that we can unify the title:lol. for the whole country.

this is great in so many ways, we have a strong showing in the 200+ mile in every combination of the gt, from whipple, to tt, to crazy built motor monsters, like rays and performance guys. right now we rule the scene from mild to wild

enjoy it gentleman!

I love it:thumbsup

kumi nice run bro

the performacepower gt needs to be at the next texal mile!

the orange Gallardo did 250.1
