The NFGT has a Lithium battery. The 05-06 has a lead-acid AGM, if you are still using the Optima battery. Some people have put, or are considering, a lithium battery into an 05-06 instead of the Optima. It weighs about 20 pounds less. I have other vehicles with both types of batteries. A charger with both modes allows you to charge either type, and helps you "future proof."

On my CTEK, when my battery is OK, the first 3 lights show up within a minute, then over the next day or two I get 3 more yellow lights then a green light or two……my setting is just the car icon in that case
