You'll actually pass quite a few bars on the way. If you take a look on the Rue Ligne Droite des Hunaudières (the Mulsanne Straight) on google street view you can see them constructing the safety barriers and debris fencing....

Because of exceptional rainfall, the highway that goes from Paris to Le Mans turned into river. We had never seen that.

The boat will be able to directly deliver your Ford GT on the Le Mans circuit. It's still more convenient.

Gentlemen,

Love the 4 numbers that Ford chose to adorn the GT's. And after a 46 year hiatus, who would have thought we'd ever see that garage scene again. Edsel Ford was there with his dad in '66. It's got to be "déjà vu all over again" for him to walk down pit lane two weeks from now. The picture of those four Fords lined up in that garage is my favorite photo yet.

Great pic! Surprised Dunlop is still being used as a brand.

Dunlop are still a big brand here in the UK - they have sponsored the British Touring Car Championship for many years as well as many other race series.

The iconic Dunlop bridge at Le Mans is the oldest one of it's type, dating back to 1932 when they altered the circuit removing a section of public road.
