I have a question about parking at the Rally. I plan on returning home for my Son's football game Friday night and Flying back Sarturday morning. Will we have a designated parking area and/or security for the event?

Yes, parking with security is provided. When DBK sets these up, he does a wonderful job. Separate parking for GT's only in the hotel garage, etc.

TRACK INFORMATION:
I talked today with the safety coordinator at LVMS and here is what you need to know: If you plan on running your car on the track at LVMS, you need to wear long pants and closed toe shoes. They WILL have helmets available to borrow at the track which I will be renting for us, but if you've got your own and can spare the space, you might as well bring it. The variety they have at LVMS are the NASCAR open-face kind you see the crews wearing.

You're now down to $4 per use!
No ID numbers necessary. We're going to have a TON of cars so there will likely be long waits in between runs. Given the Las Vegas heat and the size of the track, quick runs on the track will probably be a good thing anyways. Safety first for the track; the biggest way to put a huge damper on an event is for someone to whack their car into something!
Dinner on Saturday begins with a 5pm-6pm cocktail hour. Dinner "officially" begins at 6pm and will run until 9pm or whenever everyone leaves. There is an open premium bar on Saturday evening and SAI is approximately 17 miles from the hotel. Please adjust your transportation plans accordingly!

I seem to recall some time ago a post querying about required attire for LVMS track day. Is a helmet required? If I missed the the answer, could someone point me in the right direction?

long pants and helmets will be provided. they have special cone helmets for members that are part of the conehead family... all is good
