Ron, hope you get your car in time for the rally. And bring both the GT and the BOSS so you and Kendall can trade paint...

Unfortunately, as you might be aware from the Mustang forum, there appears to be an almost 30 day lag between actual assembly day and dealer delivery.

I will keep my fingers crossed for you that you get your car before the transporter leaves New England for Utah!!

Oh, maybe I misread your post. You say DELIVERY day, that is better! It might be close but much better chance now to break your Boss in on the track.....

I inspected my neighbors 302S last night before he left for Lowe's Motor Speedway to "break it in" race it. It was very cool, cage and roll protection looked very well done. Display and dash was very race or track car like. A hole lot of weight removed with no interior, cut out doors, carbon hood, and several motor mods to allow long runs at the track. There are alot of engineering touches that will allow it to be a much better car on the track than the LS if you want to do more than short sessions.

And yes I am lame for not getting some pictures!

I heard the 302s at mid america had NO competition. He waited over 30 seconds while the the rest of the field took off. Then he pitted for no reason. He then came in second. Unleash this beast on some non Fords. Spank a Acr or zr1 instead.

At a cost of 3400 bucks just one car is going to the rally.
Not only that there will be plenty of GT’s to drive. Hopefully some one will let me drive their car!
