Are there any cars better looking than a GT?

Last night I got to see my car go down the road for the 1st time. I finally trusted a friend good enough to drive it around so I could see it in action, not just sitting.

Mine has some mods, lowered, and aftermarket wheels, and I was blown away of how sexy these cars look going down the road. The presence is out of this world! I immediately starting trying to remember a car that has so much spirit.

1. Murci?
2. I haven't seen one yet, but Aventador?
3. Saleen S7?

I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but what are your thoughts?

No. I think all of us have driven, driven next to, and been around an array of serious hardware. Nothing looks better than the view watching a GT go down the road. A car like the Murcielago looked so awesome when it came out, and now it looks incredibly dated. FGT looks fresh.

Should see what it's like with 50 of them on a road drive...

Or 50 going around a track on the straight at the Rally in New Orleans,,

Did drive yesterday with my two boys down PCH. It started out with me in my GT, follwed by 1st son in his 05 Mustang, and then my other son in his 67 camaro. Then we switched cars a couple times. As much fun as the GT is to drive, I think I enjoy watching it go by just as much. Really cool run.

It's very fitting that the best looking part of the GT is its rear...because that's the view most driver's end up seeing.

Great arse for sure!

None better looking.

Close contenders; 288 GTO & Miura SV.

The shots from Texas world speedway were pretty good.....

I think the best view is when it is coming at you and just about to pass. That angle where you see all the lines work together and then the huge rear fenders just take over. Every time a look at the car it really it makes me appreciate how blessed I am to be able to own one.

About the only car for me that ranks as close to "as sexy as the GT" is the Murci...and I want one of those in the next little while, but honestly, very very little has the insane presence and good looks of a GT...not even cars costing 10-15 times what a GT costs, IMO - and that's obviously a very personal opinion. Others may and certainly will disagree, but those are my feelings.

Similar recent experience. I followed my friend Ed over to my shop. He was driving his red '05. I'm usually in my own. When we arrived I told Ed "Damn that's a good looking car!"

Nope... Fracman out

Easy answer. No. No other car captures history and today as this car does. No other like it...PERIOD.

I agree the GT is one of a find in the looks department. Just plain awesum.

Others that ring my bell are E Type Jag's and 550 Porche Spyder's.

All three are just "right" from the get go.

I do agree, GT is just timeless BUT! A HUGE BUT!

Pagani Zonda R is just amazing, there is no words of how that incredible piece of art looks like in real life.
The Veyron is like a Iraqi kitted Golf. Zonda is just amazing.

Me kissing the Nurburgring record car. :biggrin:biggrin:biggrin

Fast as hell maybe but looks cartoonish IMO. Good thing for ugly girls we all see things a little different.:lol

Hahaha Agree with the girl thing.

In real they are just amazing.

No

...and in 10 years, it will not be as timeless as the GT...no offence. The GT/GT40 has an almost 50-yr old design and still stuns today...I can't say that for most other classics.

+1

Could not agree more.

E-Type is on my short list, wish the 550 could be on that list too, but a close friend owns one, sooo, that's close enough.
