    Shadowman "We Dare Not Forget"

Bill, Having read your note after holding my own personal and private raising and lowering of the flag today, you stated quite clearly what is in our thoughts and hearts. Thank you

Laser engraved lug nuts.. a few left over

Chip, It's the Ford with the motor in the middle. Kinda' right behind the driver, right? Hope that helps. :)

NO SALE - "The" Daytona Coupe at Mecum

The Mecum auction collection was amazing. The wealth of impressive cars - I cry when I see a well done Shelby Cobra - was unprecedented. I presume the alleged 'lightened' GT40 went? How much? Finally a gripe about the BJ televised version. Seems that Speed's love of american muscle insures that...

The NEW GT Key! All in one Key and Remote fob.

Just received and opened my box-o-key. Three minutes later it was successfully programmed. Amazing. And a really nice piece. No one who spots my keys will think I'm driving a rental anymore. Whew! (Nice work. Many thanks).

    Q's about Stillen diffuser kit

I'd love to. But the last thing I need is less ground clearance. I don't mind scuffing the snout of my 997 (lowered, GT3 bumper/splitter), but I just can't bring myself to do the same with the GT. But it's the same reason that I want to take the original parts off the rear.

    A(nother) reason Kendall is Awesome!!

Whether other people might or might not do it, you actually did. I am very impressed by both your actions and this great community. Makes me thankful to be a small part of it. And a great BONY comment BTW.

    Carbon Fiber junkies.......here ya go

I put the 'big' Braille in my 997. 21 lbs instead of 50 lbs (oem). So far, so good. Totally cannot justify it, but that's true for everything on this forum :)

    Q's about Stillen diffuser kit

Not trying to trigger a family feud here, but it is an interesting topic. I don't have easy access to the SAE paper, but will continue to try to get a read. But it's still not clear which way to go. I totally respect that the GT team did incredibly sophisticated work with modern tools to...

2006 Tungsten Ford GT - modifying

This is a great thread. I am totally impressed by your skills and creativity. That is definitely going to be one very special GT. Make sure you stock extra sunglasses for the engine compartment viewing audience. Separately, your photos of the intercooler were the first time I've seen that part...

    Q's about Stillen diffuser kit

I've been considering swapping the brittle, expensive stock rear diffusers with the ones from Stillen. I feel like I'm living on borrowed time knowing that sooner or later I'll break those things so I'd like to put them aside along with a few other spares. So, a couple of questions: There were...

What do Thomas Jefferson, US Currency and the GT have in common?

No, but drilling a hole in from the bottom probably would :)

    Upgraded GT Photos.

You bet. I didn't want to tell him the truth that Ford held back something extra only for the white/blue ones. Break his newbie heart... (BTW, that IS the nicest RED one I've ever seen).

    New wheel & tires

Boy, it's hard to imagine how the suspension geometry will enable that to clear. Unequal a-arm components or not. I'd really be interested in the results of your 'no coilover' experiment. It would establish the 'limit case' result for 345's. Or so it seems. GL though. (and yes, where's that side...

    Smart Junction Box

Thank you guys, very much. Shadowman buddy, not surprisingly we see eye to eye on the 'do no harm' thing. So I like the idea of tapping in to the starter motor but I'll likely have to follow up to find out at what point is it persistently hot with the ignition key. I guess I'll have to go take a...

    Smart Junction Box

Not with the intention of hijacking this thread, but is there any ignition-switched-continuous-power wire in a convenient part of the engine compartment (closer to the taillight the better) to keep the backup camera hot at all times? I picked up one of those Costco wireless units that one of the...

    Rear Wicker

Looks (re: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gurney_flap) like it is the whole vertical piece. Not just the black extension over the body colored vertical piece.

Anyone has experience with Motorcars Int'l in MO?

Wow. That is an amazing level of assurance and protection. Next time sir (in some time, a Porsche GT3), I'm all yours.

    Rear Wicker

Wow, today's 'Fun Facts To Know And Tell'! Knew the Gurney Flap term. Never knew about a wicker. Not sure why it's not called a spoiler. I guess that term is not sufficiently specific. The degenerate case of wicker :) Verde P.S. The CF disease has not yet hit this part of the Bay Area...

    Upgraded GT Photos.

Beautiful car. Enjoy the heck out of it. Too bad it's that really slow color(1)! 1. If you're new to the forum, you'll find that everyone claims that their car color is 'fastest'. So this is a running joke. Promise. But this is the last GT Forum Clift notes you'll get. :)
