What modern car would you trade your GT for?

I've been thinking about this one for a while. The GT is just so fantastic that I can't see replacing it with anything. However, I would consider:

1) Ferrari Enzo
2) Maserati MC 12
3) Pagani Zonda
4) Porsche Carrera GT

As you can see, all these cars are big $$$$$ which IMO, speaks volumes about the GT.

Saleen S7

Veyron

1) 997 GT3 RS
2) Pagani Zonda
3) Mercedes CLK-LM

I would trade for ANOTHER FORD GT!!! :biggrin

On a serious note, I would trade for the Carrera GT. I had one. Was an AWESOME car. Only draw back is the $25k Clutch and what you gotta pay to get it, but it is probably the best car UNDER $500k. The Ford GT is by far the best car under $300k IMHO.

I'll take the CCR version please. :biggrin

If it was straight trade, then it's a no brainer you can choose any car like an Enzo/Veyron, etc. If it's a trade for something of similar value, there is no other option.

(Hey, Kayvan - have you ever tried to get in/out of an S7???! Ya might wanna try that B4U do anything drastic! :lol)

Ok, I won't trade, but I'll take this Ferrari around the block a few times....

I agree with Shelby that for a car less than $300K, nothing compares to the FGT. However, I don't necessarily think that a car above $300K is a no brainer. I personally don't like the way the Koenigseggs look or the Spyker's which are more. Veyron, I don't like the way it looks but I'd trade out of principle alone, the performance is gigantic and of course, it's more exclusive. GT looks better in my opinion. I think we buy these types of cars for all sorts of different reasons. Not too many cars can say "They have it all", the FGT is one of them.

Oky.

I just love that 70s era Porsche 907/917, Ferrari P3/4 racer look.

Saleen S7

I was in Turbo Joes' car at Rally I when we reeled in the S7 like it was turned off. And it was still a Ford GT. I also rode in the S7, but a GT plus 30K makes way more sense even though the S7 is a work of art.

+1

I will assume that money is no object (otherwise of course I would trade for a Veyron then turn around and buy 6 GTs).

So I really can honestly say none .

a one for one trade .... nothing. a group trade for my Gt .... uh. California spyder Ferrari, Aston DB5, Mclaren F1, uhhh and maybe a 1964 vette convertible just to round things out.

I'll trade for a certain Fiat. :wink

Saleen S7

Not so modern, but:

Mark Donohue's Sunoco Porsche 917/30

Lowenbrau Porsche 962

Saleen S7

Why?

Your FGT + another $30K ($50K tops) or so in mods and you could blow the doors off an S7 or whatever else you put up against it that costs gadzillions more!

"Co. of drag" would be the only limit ... and I betcha THAT could be addressed too! :wink

'Just my $.02.
