Maybe it's not such a good idea to post our watch collections with a safecracker on the site!:willy But since he's 1500 miles away...

8 Rolexes:
President with custom dial
3 Subs of various configurations inc. 50th Ann. model
stainless Daytona
Gold Daytona
Yachtmaster
GMT Master

2 Breitlings:
2 tone Chronomat w/ blue dial
Stainless Navitimer

2 Chronoswiss:
18k Opus skeleton
2 tone Tora

Jaeger World Time

Dubey & Schaldenbrand

Tag Steve McQueen Monaco

18k Rose Gold Girard Perregaux on a black strap

Zenith Grand Port Royale

And right now I'm wearing a Martin Braun Eos on a black strap. I wear them all except the 50TH Ann. Rolex. I think it's ugly with the green bezel but I bought it as a collector.

Oh, my wife has a Gold Rolex Lady's President with mother of pearl dial and diamond bezel plus a gold Baume Mercier with diamonds. I think I got off cheap!!:biggrin

I went through a watch frenzy too but I think I'm pretty much over it. I think I've got enough to last me my lifetime (and my son when he inherits them).

Please also list the diamond collection:willy

I have over 100 watches in my collection many or all mentioned above...my VERY BEST is the Omega 'man on the moon' collection of 26 watches with the all the logos of the maned misions on the dial and skelton backs..in a case with astrounaut suit material cover...it's a very special collection.

I was going to pick that set up at an Antiquorum auction the other month and passed figuring I got more nice time pieces than I get to enjoy. I've regretted not buying 'em.

A few years back I went on a wild watch buying frenzy. Went nuts for BIG watches, mostly AP's and, of course, Panerais(gotta love those Italian watches). Damn nice! Wasn't too discrimnating at first. After owning some fairly expensive pieces and discovering after a year you never wear them you start being more selective. Now concentrate on limited edition watches or older watches.

Ulysee Nardin makes some exceptionally well tuned timepieces using Valjou 7750 type movements that keep time better than my best Pateks.

White metal preferably-platinum,gold,stainless-work well for me but a big watch I like machines out of titanium. Tantalum is pretty damned impressive stuff. Tuff and has a great patina straight out of the box. Collectors snap them up so there pretty tough to find.

A. Lange night well be the "next" Patek. Arguably as well engineered. Craftsmenship, dollar for dollar, is also on par and they are certainly more exclusive.

Yes, it came as a complte set with a bit of written background on each mission. The case has porthholes ala the space capsule with this bitchin white coated astronaut type matyerial. I think I paid 35k for it...who knows what it is worth now. None ever worn. Should I ebay the entire collection?

A mint set traded at the October Antiquorum auction and the gavel fell at 130 Thousand dollars.

kjslider, Lange is a great brand, have 2, and it is funny, no Patek. Never really gotten hot over any of them that were less than 6 figures. Just can't do that only so much $ for toys..........
