Here is my post on the Viper board:

Pakistan should have had a bomb strapped to their turbans at day break for harboring a terrorist. The US has given them 12.3 billion since 2002, and they couldn't give us one guy? Osama's property adjoined Pakistan's version of West Point. I can only hope the intelligence gathered from the compound outs all involved so they too can be shot in the eye, along side those in the know from Pakistan. While we threw billions at Pakistan to better their economy, help with flooding, and to help preserve world peace, these pieces of camel dung hid him in their own military's back yard, literally. Armed guards on the roof tops surround the property, a million dollar three story pad in the middle of a Thari cow field, no phone, no internet, 18 foot barbed wire walls, no outward windows...give me a mother&*$#@ing break. You don't reckon their military vetted the armed fortress that abutted their property. It infuriates me to think of all those who have died searching for someone they knew who was there all along. We gave our money and our women and children, and they in turn provided Osama a safe haven to direct more attacks.

BTW, for a million dollar pad, I don't think I would have taken my shoes off to shower in that shiithole. My dogs live better than that.

Holy Moly!:chill:

One should assume that there is quite a bit more to this story than what has been released to the media. We should all celebrate the demise, though the broad generalizations and ethnic disparagement's really don't serve a purpose now do they!?

What has been released by the White House has taken on several iterations and it still appears to be changing. Perhaps some restraint to see what comes out of this over the next few weeks and months might be better served.

Outside if the capital of Karachi, the Pakistani have has no control

Just like our govt has limited control of ghettos in Harlem, Compton, Detroit or poverty of deep south or miltias or polygamist cults

Our billions are to guard the nukes, and nuke scientists from selling.

If Americans start fighting because of a dirt bag then he succeeded in his mission even after his death. The arm of politics is long and filthy but one thing is for sure and that is American Patriotism is alive and well even amongst Americans wearing turbans, sombreros or a fez.

Well said. For those of us who have lost so much because of this, it is pretty easy to throw a slur or two regarding the government that took so much from us, and hid him in their own back yard. While it is great to have killed Obama, they have gotten off very easy at this point.

Gentlemen,

No photos of a dead UBL. How unsatisfying. We are told that we "do not need to spike the football". Nice try, but few are buying that excuse for keeping photos hidden from view.

We were told...

UBL was killed in a huge firefight.
Used his wife as a human shield.
Seals had to fight there way to top floor.
UBL fought back.
UBL was shot in the left eye.

Nevermind, none of that turned out to be true. There were no security guards at that compound. It appears a maximum of one (possibly none) round was fired by the occupants. And despite having plenty of time to arm himself and go down fighting, UBL was unarmed and as POTUS said "his brains were visable in a picture of his face", he was not shot in the left eye, he was shot in the back of his head. I have shot over 100 big game animals with all types of ammo and a shot in the left eye of a man facing you will only expose his brains at the exit wound in the back of the head.

Releasing any photo would make all the lies even more obvious.

Instead of just saying "We got him" and celebrating the successful conclusion of a 10 year manhunt, we get 27 different rediculous accounts that fall apart within hours. Good grief.

Chip, I agree. Instead of spiking the football, they closed down parts of Manhattan last week to have a victory celebration. I know that sounds political and one could argue that it was nice that the President wanted to thank the first responders, but aren't we going to do that again in September? Just wondering!
