I just need to get some up to date pics. Perhaps now I've finally got CDC bumper delete on the way and am going to also finally get the Technocraft carbon parts I've been meaning to, I've got more than enough reason to do so.

BTW, the main host of the local TG show at the time, Charlie Cox, still reckoned, when I had lunch with him over a year later, that my car was the best car he's ever driven. He used to drive in the BTCC and lives in the UK, so I dare say he's driven a few cars in his time. The head of the production company who only recently contacted me about something unrelated even mentioned to me that story was one of his all time favorites of the local series (of the 4 seasons made).

I highly suggest not doing an exhaust just like Soroush's especially if you can get tickets for being too loud. Loudest GT I have ever been around. Honestly for the street it's too loud.

OzGT. The test of your GT is what I believe the best GT test ever out there. To be honest I think I have seen that clip at least 50 times.

When Top Gear UK tested the GT Jeremy was bullshiting allot as usual about " Engine came straight from a Ford pick up truck " and that he cant drive home because he lives 76 miles from home and that the car does only 75 miles on a full tank.

Now these to things are what the fan boys first ask me when they see it, its a F150 engine and it does 4mpg.
So the Top Gear Australia episode was EPIC, honest and superb.

Anyway you said that you are going with the Ford exhaust, but what do you more mean specific?

+1! At 150 mph it wanted to take off. haha. If those guys took their own advice about "head down and bum up," maybe they wouldn't keep banging their heads on the door.

Also remember the root cause of the issue that pissed him off, which was that the car woud not start due to the immobilizer, which was NOT a Ford part, but rather an aftermarket device, which I assume was required by law and by the insurance companies in Britain.

4mpg is absolutely possible on Texas Mile drag strip day, but in Britain they have Speed Cameras and Traffic Police throughout the whole UK, even in the Malls
His immobilizer issue was very embarrassing for Ford UK.

I agree the UK Top Gear test was mundane. As was the Euro challenge with it. The more comparable clip is Clarksons drive in the GTX1, its superb and shows what a few tweaks can do. He basically summaries that he could keep it, he enjoyed so much. That's def on par with the clip feat my car. I would say they had the tire combo better and prob the suspension tuned better. My Penske set up wasn't dialed in an had only just been finished, not to mention my previous tire combo on stock rims vs my current. When I mentioned exhaust, I meant the car has now, as it does in the video, the FRPP/Borla Ford GT Performance Muffler Kit. The Australian review of the Ford GT totally was spot on!!! An assessment of the car for what it is - not what someone wants it to be. The only thing I didn't like was the flag on the field for the NSX technicality. Woulda Shoulda Coulda. Bzzzzt.

I do know it was def the video editors and prob the sound producers fav segment of that series. They integrated the ground level 'peel away' footage into the titles of the show. Pretty cool having my GT immortalized that way. I was like a proud father.

Yea, Anders, that's exactly what I say when I walk by my car, how bad ass that monoblade looks, (instead of the dual blade) :wink
But it allegedly has a 5hp-7hp advantage over the dual blade.

Think I have seen this video 100 times before I bought a GT and at least 200 times after I bought mine. Don't laugh but I had it as a Alarm signal on the phone for a week or so but my GF
got scared as hell @ 0:37 every morning
