DBK , :thumbsup SHOULD BE REAL EXCITING!! gtjoey 134:thumbsup

Indy,

You live in my time zone -- can I interest you in a fractional ownership deal on the Nardo car? We can keep it at my place..... :biggrin

I'll bring my check book.....But ONLY if I can have a similar fractional ownership in your PINTO...!

After 30+ years in hiatus, the Pinto seems in great demand as of late -- we'll certainly work something out!! :cheers

This will be exciting. And both Mark and Dennis will be there to sign the car after I buy it!:rofl

And Alex will be there as well, so that's three of the team who was there when it went 209.

That wouldn't be a racing Pinto built circa 1971 would it?

Factory Original & Long Retired, though it had a cousin w/a Cosworth BDD. :wink

DBK - awesome! Cant say much more than that...:cheers

bummed i will miss the rally but excited to hear who ends up with these cars. I assume all 3 are not street legal, right?

This old dirt farmer don't have any cash but would be willing to trade 40ac of Chowchilla beach front property for one. No! Make that 80ac with a 2300 sqft house & 5000 sqft shop. All kidding aside, this auction will be a huge part of FGT history. You can't do any better than this folks. This car & it's history has brought us much fun, friends & happiness. Best of luck to all. Bid fast, bid high! :cheers

Your modesty prevails, you can certainly leverage the value of some of next year's pastachio (world's best!!) crop. I don't know the recipe, but they are absolutely awesome!! :thumbsup

Mark, :bow:bow

I've got a picture with the whole Wixom build crew standing by PB 1 -1 as it was being unloaded from the truck from Saleen. That was the first car that came into Wixom. If I remember correctly, it was January of 04.

See you in Vegas my friend. I think there will be enough of us that were on the program to build a GT.

OK Rex, I will be sending you more by years end but I forgot what flavor you got. To be safe I'll send you a variety pack. Also, I must confess that I am not a pastachio farmer but a lowly almond farmer. Those stachio's were grown by my neighbors. A can a week is all we ask. :biggrin

OK, pictures coming within the hour. I have driven all the vehicles and they all work :biggrin

It's amazing the condition of these cars considering that they were basically test mules.

It's a shame you can't register them but I guess they'll make good parts cars.:lol
