The New Shelby GT350

So 920A is the R and 60T option is magnaride for the non-R?

Either 60T or 67T get you the Magna ride on the base car.

Ah, thought 67T was Nav, strereo etc.

Told you it was too cheap.

Couple of options cost more than the list of my car (I paid $3,035+T&L) -

It is, but you have to order Tech or Track pack to get magnaride.

I think HF3 has his performance review coming up in early Q4. I'm going to give him really positive feedback so he can continue to help us with forward model pricing. ;-))

Very true, but how much were you making in 1966?

You think the engine tuning will be the same on the 350 and the R.

Yes

That seems like a LOTTA car for the $$. Chevy must be choking inasmuch as a Z/28 is more dough...

I'll have to check - I think around $9,000/year. A little less than I make on Social Security today....View attachment 38255

But the wife didn't work, and we could have steaks 3 times/week, and still save money from each paycheck - taxes and expenses were so much lower then, but of course everyone worked and we weren't paying a lot of welfare. People worked and were responsible for themselves, and gave to charities without all the Madison Avenue prodding (which of course paid their salaries, too). I would have ordered the Shelby GT350, except we were expecting 1st child.

In other words, Life was GOOD!

Ralphie, things could be worse, at least on the car front anyway. You can't get a Shelby in AU and the regular Mustang offerings:

I am getting a GT350. It appears if you get the Track Pkg 60T over the Tech Pkg 67T the only difference is the seats. Is that right? Also are the CF wheels an option for the non-R?

CF wheels are not an option. 67T does come with the base leather trimmed seats vs. the Recaros, 60T also has oil, trans and diff coolers.

Total BARGAIN!!!!!!!!

If it performs well this could displace the Corvette as the "sports car deal of the century".

So when will the HP/torque numbers come out?

So when will the HP/torque numbers come out?

Should be shortly but they are in range of what's been discussed previously.
