Texas mile

Soroush, I admire your tenacity and perseverance.

Now all you have to do is give Mullet a new shirt. He can wear it on Castro St. next time he visits San Francisco.

working on it Clinton, keep your fingers crossed, I need some luck :)

How many GT's are there you guys?
Congrats on the 235 mph, that sounds impossible... great job :thumbsup
What is the least modded GT there?
Pulley tunes etc...????

Go speed racers gooooooooo:banana

Congrats Mark H!! That is a big run into a headwind. :thumbsup:thumbsup

Maybe I missed the post, but do we know what kind of dyno number he put up?? I do remember the pic of that serious cage that he put in that beast. :eek

How does the new course compare to the old one?? Stay safe and keep having fun. :cheers

WOOHOO! :banana Outstanding! :thumbsup Way to go Mark and Shawn! Is that high speed for the event so far?

LMR Camaro at 243

WOW, great numbers Mark - especially so given the conditions!!! Be safe, everyone!

Soroush just ran 210.

Wind now 26 mph. Direct headwind, 90% humidity, 95 degrees. It's like driving into a wall of water. My trailer and the motorhomes are rocking. A 1969 Camaro blew it's engine at the finish line and when I ran 10 minutes later a chunk of aluminum punctured my left rear tire. A brand new Hoosier R-6 with 10 miles on it.

Chip

Soroush 2nd run. 175 mph

I think he ran out of nitrous. He had a great run going at the 1/2 mile mark.

Chip

soroush said a intake hose came off but was running strong thru 4th gear. He's all amped up and refilling his bottles.

I thought the conditions at Goliad were bad. That laughing gas can only work for so long against a 26mph headwind.

Yikes sounds like the conditions SUCK. Sorry to hear about the tire, good that you are safe and able to post. Scary to have a puncture doing 200+!

Crud! Alloha GT had a similar thing happen at Goliad. Are you able to get a replacement?

Mark H has a wheel and tire to loan to Team Chip.

Mark H car (Shawn driving). Look for my encouragement motion at the beginning for Shawn. :)

What's the wire that pops out at 0:30?

I had tire go down (nail puncture) at Goliad, too. Glad to hear you finished safely,

Like Chip on the big end of the track. Something like 172, as I coasted across the line from the 3/4 mark.

And thanks again Team Jeff for loaning me wheels and tires that day.

GT owners ROCK.

Go Blu...................
