Guys story may be true. I remember the raffle for the Jackson GT - entered it (obviously I didn't win or it wouldn't be for sale).
I am sure a lot of people that enter those kind of things think they just drive the car away.

100% correct assumption. Remember the news reports about the brew-ha-ha created after Oprah gave those cars away to her audience a while back? THEY all 'figgered' the same thing!:lol
(And if I remember right, many of these people reportedly COMPLAINED because Oprah didn't pay said taxes FOR 'em! Swell...:frown) ("No good deed goes unpunished." ...Or unappreciated.)

That auction is the REAL DEAL. That is the correct seller/price/etc. The other auction was just a scammer that had copied this guys pics.
I contacted ebay about the fake auction and here is there reply.

for User IDs and passwords or stating that eBay has a warehouse and has
inspected the item in question or even stating the eBay has insured the
seller to forestall possible fraud. These messages appear to come from
eBay or other legitimate companies, but in fact do not. It is important
to remember that eBay will never ask for sensitive information of this
nature through email and that eBay acts only as a venue for buyers and
sellers and does not handle any of the items listed on the site in any
way.
To report this kind of activity in the future:
1. Click the "Help" link located at the top of most eBay pages.
2. Click the "Contact Us" link on the left side of the page. You may be
asked to sign in.
3. Select "Listing Violations."
4. Click the "Continue" button.
5. Select "Fraudulent listings (illegal seller demands, you didn't
receive item, etc)."
6. Select "You suspect that a listing is fraudulent you didn't bid."
7. Click the "Continue" button.
8. Click the "Email" link under "Customer Support Option(s)" to make
your report.
Submitting your report this way enables us to investigate the listing as
quickly as possible.
