Scottsdale Rally to Rally IV.


Garrett and I just flew in from 56 degree Cleveland to a nice 78 degree night here at our home in AZ. We look forward to kicking things off tomorrow. We're installing the pulley and tune, new K&N's and new plugs in the morning!
 
Schedule of Event Times

I could not find the starting times for Trader Vic's, lunch at Chip's etc. Is an agenda posted somewhere with specific times? I don't want to be late for such vivacious activities!

Dinner tomorrow (Saturday) is at Trader Vic's at 7pm. Most of us will arrive at the Pavillons car show at 5:30 and we will leave for Trader Vic's at 6:45. GT Guys are working all day at my home Saturday and many GT owners are here all day. Sunday lunch at my home is at 12:00. We'll leave my house for the Penski Auto Museum at 2:30. The General Manager of the Penski Dealerships & Museum will be joining us at my home for lunch. Dinner Sunday at Don & Charlie's is at 7pm.

We launch for Fort Stockton at 7am Monday morning. We will lose 2 hours due to time change. We need to cover 650 miles in 10 hours to make our 7pm dinner in Fort Stockton.

Scottsdale Hotel Parking

Gentleman,

When you get to the Scottsdale Marriott Old Town Inn Suites Hotel, tell the valet attendant that you will be self parking and that you are a guest at the hotel. He will give you the gate code to the underground parking garage. When you enter the garage proceed straight ahead to the bottom floor of the underground parking garage and you will see several parking spaces that have been blocked off with yellow barricade tape by me. These spaces are reserved for Ford GT parking only during our event. You should be able to drive right underneath that barricade tape into a parking space. Allow plenty of space between cars of course to open your doors the full 90°. I will arrive at the Marriott at 5:30 to lead a GT motorcade to the Pavilions car show where we will spend about an hour before departing for Trader Vic's restaurant. If you don't arrive in time to make it to the Pavilions it's no problem. One of our GT members will meet you in the lobby at 6:45 to direct you to Don and Charlie's for our 7 p.m. dinner. I'll see you soon.

Chip et. al,

For those of us not coming to the rally, or will be out of the country etc. some daily images would be great to keep us there in spirit.

Atomic,

Until I leave Scottsdale I have been posting daily updates and photos of the Scottsdale Rally to the Rally. Once I leave town I have no laptop & can't post photos until I get back home BUT......I'm sure some of our other members will! I'm sorry you won't be there.

Chip, So am I, but I will survive on some Swiss wurstlies! I will beat on Ralphie to upload the photos! He has his laptop.
