Scottsdale Rally to Rally IV.

I may have some splaining to do Lucy but I might very well be in this year.... I have been out for a while but have not forgotten my friends here.... I hope everyone is great!!
I owe a couple calls to some friends and will make them this week.....
Rally I,II & III were fabulous and don't want to miss out on IV..... so here's to wishfull thinking, but everytime I have made plans this year, something has come up!!!! Work fortunately.....

Final numbers for reservations.
Gentlemen,
In addition to this post I will be sending a PM to all members who have indicated they will be attending the Scottsdale Rally to the Rally. I want to give those restaurants hosting our group as accurate a count as possible so I'll need the following information from all those who plan to attend. Dinner on Saturday night will be at Trader Vic's restaurant, lunch on Sunday will be at my home catered by Honey Bear's BBQ, and dinner on Sunday will be at Don and Charlie's Restaurant. Please take a moment to send me a PM with the following. I know I'm asking for a lot of information but please be as complete and concise as possible as it will really help me out.
1. Have you made your hotel reservation at the Scottsdale Marriott Inn Suites Hotel for the nights of October 10 and 11th?
2. Have you made your hotel reservation is at the Fort Stockton Hampton Inn for the night of October 12?
3. Do you have your hotel reservations confirmed at the Four Seasons (Rally Headquarters Hotel) in Austin, Texas?
4. How many people will be in your party for dinner at Trader Vic's Restaurant on Saturday, October 10?
5. How many people will be in your party for lunch at my home on Sunday, October 11?
6. How many people will be in your party for dinner at Don and Charlie's on Sunday, October 11?
7. How many people will be in your party for dinner at John Chihuahua's Restaurant in Fort Stockton on October 12?
8. Do you intend to attend the Tuesday evening dinner in Austin at Truluck's Restaurant? If so, have you posted the number in your party on the "Tuesday Night Dinner in Austin" thread?
Finally, if your plans change and you will not be able to attend any event, please let me know ASAP. Again, I know it's a pain in the butt but please take the time to answer all eight of the questions above in a PM sent to ChipBeck.

I'm late to the party. The Hampton Inn is completely full, which includes GT rooms. Has anyone else had to book at a different hotel? There is a La Quinta Inn 1 mile away, but I thought I would check here first before booking.

The Rally has begun.

Daniel Bonyhadi often said that all Rallies begin in Scottsdale. For me and the crew here in Arizona, Rally IV is now underway. The GT Guys showed up at midday yesterday and have been hard at work in my garage. Several cool new Kip Ewing Carbon Fiber goodies now adorn my car!! :banana Ralphie came by for a while this morning and Fast Freddie brought his GT up from Tucson. Several more GTs will be arriving today. Last night at the end of the day Daniel joined Rich, Dennis, Veronica and myself for a Makers Mark Manhatten.
After lunch at my home on Sunday we will be touring the Penski Racing Museum in Scottsdale. The weather is cool and perfect here. All the best.

Wish I was there Chip, but I'm already in Terlingua TX.. Been one heck of a trip. Lost a weight on one of the wheels by the "Windmills" off the 10 in Palm Desert. Went to get the tires balanced, found a nail in one. In the parking lot a lady backs into the car while it was on jacks. Because of coarse no one had one of the drive on ramps the car would clear. Looks like Rich and Dennis will have some more work to do on the car. State Farm is probably not going to like that bill.
Made it to TX. 5 miles out of the hotel doing a run with the Terlinqua crew, the same tire blows the valve stem off. Trailer the car to the next town and everyones afraid to touch the car. Finally found someone to take it off. SOOOO now running on a plug, and a patch. And I still have 5 more days until I meet up with a new tire at Hennessey's.
I hope that I've taken everyones bad luck, and y'all have a safe trip to the Rally. :thumbsup
