Just a note, after going to Austin and having some local members drag us around, we've made a couple location audibles. Honestly, Harris Hill is a beautiful and fun track, but it would be flat out
scary for novices. Any track can result in expensive mishaps (understatement), but after taking some laps with the extreme elevation changes leading into turns, we've decided to switch to Texas World Speedway. Bigger, Faster, but not nearly as kooky in terms of loading and unloading the suspension into turns. PeakCompletions and I both thought, "disaster area" several times in the first few turns :lol Plus it makes for a cool photo op with a ton of GT's on a SuperSpeedway that many a famous racecar driver has been on! :biggrin Plus Rusty who runs the track is a hoot and it's a pretty entertaining drive getting out there.
Because of this change, we're gonna kick this thing off at TWS on Wednesday morning. We're gonna pack it all into 3 days. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday overload. We're all set with TWS, The Texas Mile, and some beautiful Hill Country Driving.
Registration and final details will be up in a day or two.
