I'm not signing up for leadership, but I can show up on time and program a GPS. If I'm the first to roll out, I guess that makes me the lead until somebody has the balls to try and pass me! haha! I hope this is still a go. And, I still need to park my tow car and trailer through the post-rally rally. And, I thought there was going to be a luggage truck. If not, that's fine, but we need to know soon in order to UPS our gear to the hotel.

Where is the info on the Sacramento/NorCal run? Would make more sense for me to go up and travel with the NorCal'ers rather than go down south and back up north.

PM to follow.

There is no NorCal run. It's the flatlanders from the midwest coming in early.

That could be considered a NorCal run! There is a Pre-Rally & a Post-Rally drive.

Following you it might be a "run" off the road.

I guess my trip of a life will be on my own. It's too late to have this much uncertainty. I'll be planning my own rally to the rally. Disappointed we won't have a convoy, but I'm looking forward to seeing everyone in Sonoma.

Driving from Florida? Yeah that will be a rally in itself.

No, not driving from Florida. Still trailering the GT to....somewhere in California. The way I'm seeing it, doing the Rally alone is just too far for me. To justify (in my own mind) going that far, I need to get a lot of non-Interstate time in the GT. That means at least several hundred miles up the coast or maybe up the east side of the Sierras, either of which qualifies as spectacular. Still hoping the post Rally Rally pans out. Anyway, trying to not come across as frustrated, it's simply getting too close to not have things locked down, particularly with Labor Day weekend to deal with on the front end.

Is there still a group of people in the SoCal area that are going to take the trip up on Tuesday morning? I am planning on joining the group, if there is one.

I'm still kind of in limbo myself. I originally planned to go south the join the caravan up north. Now that it seems like it is falling apart, not much sense in driving 200 miles south only to come back up north. There is a group leaving from Sacramento, I believe on Sept 1st, making a few stops on the way to Sonoma. But I can't join them either as I'll just be getting back from a trip on the 1st and will have to pick up my car which will be getting some work done while I'm gone.

Gary, what's your itinerary? Do you plan on leaving the 2nd or 3rd? Maybe I can meet you somewhere on the Central Coast.

Xentric, Look at coming into So California, or Las Vegas. Take I-15 owards LA, you can pick-up Hwy 395 in Victorville, and head up the Eastern Sierra Byway, Hwy 395. It is spectacular, places like Lone Pine, Bishop, Ancient Bristlecone pine forest, Mammoth Lakes. Great accommodations in Bishop and Mammoth Lakes. Explore the Eastern Sierra, then take one of 4 passes, across the Sierras, Tioga Pass through Yosemite, or Sonora Pass or Ebbetts Pass and connect to Hwy 49 and then to Sonoma. Or farther north, Hwy 89 to Lake Tahoe. Over night in Tahoe and then take I-80 to Sonoma. Fantastic Vistas. No traffic, view the entire Sierra escarpment, amazing country. No beaches, but everything else. Great historical old west roads.

Will your gang be driving through Carmel, Ca on Hwy 1? If so, any idea on the approx time? Maybe our central California GT's can meet you all there?

Who are you going with? I assume Marv. Anyone else from the area? Are you leaving the 2nd or 3rd?
