We just returned from there for the Viper Club of America Owners Invitational VOI.11 last week. Stayed at the Grand America Hotel... 5 star hotel... great underground parking. We had the whole 2 level for the Vipers.

Had a great cruise to Park City... got to watch Olympic training on the summer ski jumps and much more.

August may be pretty hot and muggy there... are you sure abnout the dates?

August is the hottest month in SLC and northern Utah. But we all went to Vegas and it was hot there. 1st weekend after Labor Day is a good time, no chance of rain or snow, still hot during the day but cools at night. October is pushing it for people coming from anywhere north or east of Utah. Just a local's perspective. Storms start rolling in for the fall and early winter in October.

It is not muggy in Utah, eastern edge of the Great Basin desert, more like Vegas in August, hot in the sun, not so hot in the shade. Nights cool down. Utah is not humid in the summer.

August is definitely hot, but it won't be anywhere near as nasty as our day at the Texas Mile. We go every year the first weekend of August and it's usually pretty hot at the track, but it's not scorching until you drive down into the valleys. It's a dry heat, so even in the 90's it doesn't feel that hot. Once you drive up into the mountains, it's really nice and the temps drop significantly.

Nothings hot till you have problems with your A/C going through Death Valley on Rally III....I either had nothing or full BLAST...I think I averaged 110mph getting back to the GT guys hoping it would stop all together

I"M IN FOR UTAH! Anything is cooler than Texas in August

I thought this was a secret! The date & place already?

Ok, sign Shadowman, Shadowboy, Heidi & me up. It's only 620 miles away for me so not that much of an adventure. I made it all the way to VA-NC for Rally V (whoa - how about that AlohaGT & Hilo Dave?) so the Easterners better show up for Rally VI (that doesn't include Rocketman because I know he'll be there).

Ed

PS It'll be a very high chance that it won't rain for Rally VI!

August 25-26-27, 2011 with an optional additional track instruction day on August 24th.

Proposed or are these the dates?

Thank you

Margaret and I will be there God willing. We have not missed a Rally yet !! One of my best investments seems to be my car trailer.. although I may need some new trailer tires and brakes by then.....

Andy - be glad to drive "it to&from" Rally 6, your buy the gas and my time is free. Works out to be $100 day for fuel, 4 days each way, so about $800 total.

Much less expensive than a car hauler!

Let me know when to pencil this in to my calander.
