Isn’t that what the wife/girlfriends’ lap is for?

Why do Canadians think Americans understand the metric system. Just say 6,213.712 miles. Thank you Google.

I fully understand. You got close to your goal! The beauty of South Florida we have all year round of driving, the winter is actually better!.. I have a ways to go to catch Barry!
Ed - even with the Hurricane , I had not a drop of rain on the way to Atlanta so the cruise was fast. (until I hit the rush hour traffic in Atlanta
RAIN ... on the way home through Tennessee and Kentucky I had a lot of Fog, Rain and wind. Windshield Wipers work well at various speed settings.
The tires worked well, but I had to reduce speed from 80-85 mph down to approx. 50 -55 mph in the rain and fog. Otherwise I could feel a 'slippery' sensation
with the vehicle both laterally and fore-aft.
Kevin happened to call from Detroit at that time and suggested the WET "W" setting. So I put it into 'W" mode.
I did not like the setting just from a personal preference. The car felt like I had just added about 500 lbs mass and the accelerator pedal needed to be depressed 'deeper' for the same throttle response.
Maybe if I had started out in 'W' it would have felt better--- next rain I will try it.
So, I just went back to Normal "N" position , toned down my speed to compensate for the water and continued until the rain stopped around Georgetown Kentucky.
