Mmp High Flow Fuel Filter Now Available!!!!!

Recently we were working on our customers Ford GT that had a fuel delivery problem so we in turn started diagnosing it by ordering a brand new fuel filter. To our dismay we were quoted $166.56 retail for one as they are a throw away item. Well I said I am going to make one for the GT owners that will be able to bolt right in with no modifications required and will have a replaceable or washable fuel filter element. This fuel filter will flow 2,000 lb/hr with a pressure drop of less than 1psi. This is a must have especially for you GT owners that run high octane fuels as they are not filtered as well as gas you purchase at your every day gas station. Approximate install time is 1 hour.

Pictured below is the stock filter next the high flow fuel filter we are offering:

Pricing will be as follows:

$199.99 w/ 10 micron replaceable element
$199.99 w/ 40 micron replaceable element
$249.99 w/ 100 micron washable element

These are in stock with immediate shipping available!

Jack,

What is the (micron) filtration rating of the stock Ford filter?

Thanks,

Jay

Jay - Usually they are 10 however if you look at this link from Fram they will say otherwise :)

Finally , I have installed my new filter from MMP !!!!

This is such an easy 10 min bolt-on... Looks great and
the ability to re-use the washable 100-micron element
is a bonus!!!!

There was absolutly no issues with clearance or fitment.
I simply removed the factory filter bracket and the MMP filter
rests in place of the old one with no bracket needed. MMP supplied
an adel clamp for the factory hose but I chose not to use it.
The way that the factory fuel lines are routed the new filter
just rests in place with little to no movement at all..

Here is a few pics after install:

I just read this

With the belly pans during a-typical servicing you can disconnect the lower portion of OEM filter from below; with the proper tool the process is not difficult.

Furthermore this is a low service item when compared to the other systems as such the idea of relocating it would seem like much work for little benefit.

IMO the OEM filter is secured in position within a nice chassis mounted bracket as such I only use OEM replacements therefore I cannot speak of this replacement offering; I do not know how it is secured and if by design it is more difficult to remove.

Takes care

Shadowman - This replacement filter we offer goes in the factory location and in the factory mount. It has the same quick connectors as factory and is a direct bolt in. Currently a factory fuel filter for a Ford GT is $169.56 from Ford and a throw away item. If a customer purchases our filter the 10 micron or 40 micron filter is less than $20 to replace. The 100 micron is washable. In essence it is a savings for the long run especially if you or the end user change out their fuel filters often.
