& 4WD right?

Would have been better had he pulled off the four wheel drift. Everybody knows how to wreck. :biggrin

How to wreck a Lamborghini

So easy to do shifting from 1st to 2nd under power with wheel turned:

Hard to stomach the two losers that taped the incident. Why did they find the whole thing so funny? Because they're losers with no chance of ever being able to own anything of value such as a Lamborgini. Childlike Bevus an Butthead behavior.

'Totally agree. But OTOH, the actions of the Lambo pilot were nothing to write home about either.

In the immortal words of M.C. Hammer, "ring the bell, school's in sucka." Although its a Lamborghini, this should be mandatory viewing for all new GT owners. What an ideal demonstration of the famous "Ima gonna squeeze this here throttle while in the middle of a turn and also while I'm in a low gear just to show off how fast my car is" technique of auto crashing.

Here is a simple rule: a man has got to know his limitations, and until he does, he doesn't hit the loud pedal while the wheels are turned. Period. How many GTs have we lost to this very thing?

...............any bets that this was a 'Lot Jockey' out for a joy ride with someone else's car (similar to what has happened several times to GT owners)??

I bet of the 1000 or more that have been crashed, 80% are from accelerating in 1st or 2nd with the wheels turned. All you need is a curb or center island and you have a bent or cracked frame.

Yep, guaranteed oversteer situation, especially with cold tires on the GT. Didn't he recognize that this is the beginning move of doing cookies? Hard left turn, punch it, go around in circles. Usually not good to do in traffic. He'd have been better off to complete the circle and recover on the 360 than try to recover it at 12:00 (if he were skilled enough to do it).

It happened to me on my Shelby GT/SC Mustang and Cobra going out of the subdivision onto the highway when trying to accelerate to merge into a spot between cars (it's a left turn onto a very busy highway with a 50+MPH speed). That's what made me ditch the Goodyears and get Bridgestones on the GT. Haven't broken it loose yet but not looking to find where the limit is.
