So do you get a letter or email if you get rejected?

The application submission confirmation email states: "Applicants will be notified of their status within 90 days of the application window closing." I have to believe that this means that Ford will be communicating with all applicants... be it good news, or bad news.

Ford is a class act; I would be extremely surprised if they where to communicate only with the successful applicants.

I would rather see it happening like that :

Ford would issue a Press release in which :

- It would recall the reasons and the rules of the "Application."
- It would recall the enormous number of applications received for only 500 cars for sale.
- It would thank the candidates, for there enthusiasm and confidence.
- It would indicate the number of cars assigned in each country of the world.
- It would indicate the specific date, when each candidate would receive a positive or negative response.

But I'm not Ford. Fortunately for the excellence of Ford and unfortunately for my own passionate application to purchase the 2017 GT.

So, like everyone, I cross my fingers, and I wait, wait, wait…..

If no - PBR, rinse and repeat.

If maybe - 2 year protocol of slow drip IV of Tito's while waiting for an outcome.

If yes - large Dunkin' donuts coffee - wake-up, it's just a dream. There never was a Ford GT to begin with. ;-))

I like your plan. I'm with you!

I heard from someone who knows someone that this week we will be notified of the allocations. I dont put much stock in the rumor, but seeing if anyone else has any input. Good luck to all!

Maybe he meant this is the week? LOL

Damn, that would make me 1st! LOL! However I'd settle for a "you're in" email and a cold bottle of the "bubbly" to mark the event.

Steve that fine print can be a killer.

Last I checked, your GTForum name began with the letter 'S', as in SteveA. In rank order, that would compare unfavorably with the letter 'C', as in Cobrar. :lol

Well this is a fortuitous development. By coincidence, I had just changed by legal name to Abraham.

Should be good for serious 1st tier consideration. :biggrin

Love it Dave, with a first name like Tomy spelt the way it is I'm going to be hell to find and too old to change it. I'll just count on a little luck!
