I sure hope your extended family fares well and stays safe. From the Andrew experience we all know what a direct hit from a cat 4 or 5 storm can mean. Having traveled there twice, I can vouch for the shaky nature of Cuban construction.

Good luck to you in Florida and especially to your Cuban relatives during this hurricane season, IKE in particular and lots of luck to those in south west Florida (myself included) who have FGT's in the area of (possible) concern.
Wish that I were joining all this year in Las Vegas...maybe Florida or Texas for the next year's FGT Rally?
