The F 280 GTO, with same 308 lines has been described as next sleeper Miura...in $2-300K...heading higher fast

We missed the boat. I think they are already bumping at 7 figures now.

DBK, Thanks for finding Mitty's handy-work on the comparison of the GT and 430 (in 2005)

First TV Series that I remember with an iconic car was "Route 66" with Martin Milner as Tod Stiles and George Maharis as Buz Murdock. That 1960 Corvette just drew everyone to the show.

P.S. - I don't count Broderick Crawford in "Highway Patrol" with the 1955 Buick!

Nash Healey. The car itself has quite a history.

Mitty where are you?
You have been awfully quiet since our ride at Miller!

Still trying to process the magnificence of your driving :) Seriously, I never had any idea that a GT could do what you made it do at Miller (that's a compliment, by the way).

Looking forward to the next rally, and also looking forward to writing that review of the 458. It will be published here first, simply because this is the coolest place on earth! Should be here in early March. Wonder how that whimpy lil' 458 will do at the Mojave mile. Methinks it won't go 210.1

Why is the Audi on top? Shouldn't that be your daily driver with easy access?

:frownHHGT,

For the record,,,the GT usually occupies the top bunk and the F-car on the bottom. The A-4 StaSIS that my son drives is in the next bay. However, during the picture, we dumped the A-4 up top to clean the Stainless Steel exhaust and other under-body parts. Trust me, the Audi will be removed and the GT will sit atop again! (with the 430 below where it belongs,,,,on the bottom! as GTJOEY would say, "he,he"!)

BTW, Thank you all for responding. I was hoping for more guys who own F-cars and GTs to respond. As I said, I love them both.

And in closing: Did a trip to a friends this weekend to show him the F-430. Made a loop on the Wantaugh PKY and an asshole in a
Z0-6 came up behind me looking for a run.:frown I managed to run the gears without hitting the rev-limiter. PS: he gave up at 125mph.:biggrin Didn't have the balls to follow me to 145mph.:frown I wounder how early he would have given up if I was driving the GT?!?!?:thumbsup:lol Bottom line, I like the 430,,,I LOVE the GT!

Why do you keep posting the same pictures again? We have seen these!!!!(already)
PS: Can cancel what ever you want. Don't need it...only want it........

Suggest you stop posting and go back to "around the world in a GT" thread.

Jim,

Love the set up...F car, GT, Audi. Nice stable good old American Iron mixed in with the Italy and Germany. Sweeet!!! I noticed that your lift seems to have more room on each side for pulling the car in. I have a Backyard Buddy and I literally have about 2 to 3 inches on each side for my mirrors to clear the posts.

DBK, Thanks for finding Mitty's handy-work on the comparison of the GT and 430 (in 2005)

Save that link. The reviews are so good that anytime Mr. Mitty adds a new review, it gets tacked onto that thread which is stuck in the media section. So when the 458 comparo is done, it'll get stuck in there too.
