how many times have you run into another GT

FBA's post about seeing a gt out and about got me thinking! how many times have you been driving your gt and just happen to run into another one. I dont mean on the way to a car event or any other event where there might be another gt, just being out and about without any previous plans to actually see anyone else but just happen to run into another gt. oh and you have to have been driving yours too. that has happened to me only once! I was cruising around one day running some errands in my blue car I took the I10 exit from 288south as soon as I got onto I10 as I was merging with traffic there it was. out of all things another blue with white strip gt. we looked at each other and it was like seeing a ghost

Never while driving mine. Have not seen one on the road in over a year in FL or MN.

i almost "ran into" BigInch Blake at last year's Rally and that would have been sad for both of us, but especially me. One needs to keep both eyes on the guy in front of you at ALL times. Lesson learned! On Soroush's thread though, I have never run into one here in SW Missouri, and the chances are minute that I will. Would be great though as the roads around here are terrific for the car.

To my knowledge there are only two other GTs in my area. I have seen both but neither while I was in my GT. So according to the criteria my count is zero. However, I have had my GT for a little over a year now so it's not the same as the orginal owners. Have put 1,200 miles on her!

And your car didn't even have 100 miles on it during your ownership. No way you'd ever see another GT while in yours!!!!

Living only 30 miles South of Houston I have never seen another Ford GT on the road while driving my GT other than when driving to a car show or going to a get-together for dinner. Houston is a very big city with a lot of GT owners living within 30 miles. Very interesting findings.

I'm surprised at these answers. I guess I just took it as a given based on how frequently I see GTs in Detroit. It helps we have a main road every cruises religiously, but I'd have to say that I definitely see a GT while I'm in a GT several times a year.

I have only seen one in Ga. other than the showroom when they came out and that was after I had mine and close to the house. I was driving the Prowler at the time and could not get the attention of the other GT. Lots more GT's on the north side of Atlanta.

About once or twice a year I'll see another GT on the road. Pretty rare event.

See them often on the Rally to the Rally, the GT Rally and at Flo's in Chino.

I have only ever seen one "in the wild" ie not at a car show or other planned gathering. That was before I had mine and it was headed to my town and then probably to Estes park.

The owner of the dealership I use for maintenance has one that I've seen a few times.. My family and a friend have seen a blue/white in Saratoga Springs recently.. but I haven't yet.
