The new issue of 5.0 mustang and super fords had an article on the gt500.

they installed the new kenne bell 2.8H. at the end of the day and 24lbs of boost later they ended up with 801rwhp. not too shabby if you ask me.

all with the stock motor and some tuning.

as for the new 08 gt500kr getting the gt motor. I think i will beat ford to it when i get the gt motor that i have installed into my 86 merc capri. My friends shop is going to be doing the install and body work. we are going to restore the car but mimic the trans-am capri's that kicked butt in the day.

I just saw a red and white convertable GT500 today. My word that car has a presence.

I think that you can not go wrong with either. I personally prefer Corvettes, but that is just me.

They are all great, The only GM car I love and will own is the 07 Z06(I don't think the Blue Devil is all that, I think people will be disappointed), its a monster, the GT is another level. As for the GT500, well its also a great car and I plan buying a convertible closer to the end of the run and hopefully at MSRP. I don't pay over MSRP. All my cars have been at MSRP. Either way great cars, you can' go wrong.

Do you think the main down fall for the Blue Devil will be it's weight? I hadn't heard anything negative about it, but I don't know much about the anticipated differences from the Z06 to Blue Devil. Got any links to good info on it? I'm not planning on buying one, just want to get up to speed on it...
