Just purchased an 05 w/ 2K miles, drove it home to Alabama from Wisconsin. Air worked ok in WI, not so well here in AL. I have no GT specific knowledge, but upon inspection of what I think are the refrigerant service ports, one of them is oily, as if it has been leaking. I will be taking it to the local Ford dealer, but I would like to at least know if that is what I am looking at as I am scared sh!#less about the dealer since it took me 5 minutes on the phone to get the guy to realize that this GT was not a mustang.
Are the service ports under the "trunk" passenger side?
Does the GT have a refrigerant sight glass somewhere?
Has anyone heard of having to change the o-rings on the needle valves?
I have attached a photo, the top valve is the oily one. Front of the car is to the right.
Thanks.
