I don't know what Car & Driver is talking about.:bs
First: fit and finish on the GT is great with retro looks and interior.
Second: fit and finish on the F430 is about the same. I compared both side by side at the same time before I bought the GT. F430 just another slick Italian car.
Third: The GT blows the F430 away in looks (subjective) and mirrors legendary looks of its father/ancestor the great GT40. Point in fact, the car carrier who delievered my GT's delivers all the Ferraris and Lambos for the Lambo/Bently dealer where I bought my GT. He said, "unsolicited", the GT got more attention on his truck then any Lambo or Ferrari he has ever delivered.
Fourth: The GT will eat the F430's lunch in performance.
Fifth: Limited production and exclusivity. Less then 4000 GTs left in the world. The remaining GTs surviving are the last of the Mohicans. Ferrari makes over 5000 F430s a year!
Sixth: The GT is all American and storied as a Ferrari slayer bringing the bacon home to the U.S. at LeMans against the Ferrari juggernaut three consecutive times.
I don't care what Car & Driver says. I'd take a GT hands down any day of the week.
