Your right Steve. I think the mileage from Phoenix to the CA line is less than 250 miles going that route, but as you know from doing that route, it would be a shame not to stop and smell the roses. (or burro droppings) :thumbsup

...HWY1 is the way to go, should be lots of fun. So let me see, so far we have two white GTs (mine and Sims) on this route...is Dave from Harrold Ford coming? Is this going to be an all white convoy? No reds/blues/blacks/yellows?

Canibl,
I'm still up in the air about trailering or driving. If they have the GTX1 top in order i'll drive. Yoou'll have a blue/white going down with you. If the top is not ready, I'll trailer. If so, I'll have room for anything the convoy can't fit in the GT's.

Finally got the east coast in here! A new member who hasn't even posted yet is coming in with 4 people from Jersey! Now we just need to get that guy from that other nearby state to roll in!

I am in!

Paypal is on its way. Can I fax the entry form?

I will plan join the Dr. Sims group down Hwy 1. I hope Piana joins us, but if not it will save the FedEx work.

Piana will be there. X-1 tops are moving along well. No top, I may drive down anyway. Trailers take a little of the fun out of it!

Yes, Bony, my friends call me, Meow!

Remember 1199 means nothing in AZ! Be carefull with the Whipple. The roads from AZ to the rally sound like a nice drive other than the potential for a sandblasting the paint. Your bra has you covered.

Count Me In

It will be a pleasure to meet other owners of the GT's. I have sent my check to you, and have booked my reservations at the Fairmont. I'm looking forward to the gathering. I will be driving down (2005 No. 1857) and would like to know when the activities will be starting on Wednesday. Thank you again.

Yeah, I will watch the weather, if it is windy I am not going to head to Scottsdale, it is an easy run down from Fresno. If the winds are up I will convoy down with you Norcal guys. For now my plans call for a rendezvous with Chip and the Arizona crowd.

Monterey Historics

I'll also be at Laguna Seca for the Monterey Historics from August 17-19.

Is anyone else planning to be there? Perhaps we could get a Ford GT special parking area???

That's the right attitude! On the bright side without the top you can work on your tan for Newport Beach :rofl

I don't recall it ever raining in Aug. and if it does if you go fast enough the water would never get inside.

I look forward to the cruise with the nor cal guys. The last time was at Sear Point.
