What is a "Dragon Lap?"

The track has a concrete launchpad installed at the beginning of the straight away. They put up a drag strip style christmas tree and let you start onto the 5090 foot front straight and then do the outer loop of the track. Like a Goodwood trial but we'll be doing it without the timing, and they refer to it as the Dragon Lap. Just for the fun of being able to run down nearly the mile long stretch.

I would say don't take the christmas tree to serious. Saleen did sort of the same standing start deal when we did an AutoX at Rally 2 and the smell of roasting clutch was pungent in the air. :lol We may just line up and roll people out as the straight clears.

I picked up my new RED F-150 EcoBoost on Monday from Ford WHQ in Dearborn.. (Frank - notice it is RED and not Blue this year)
I will winch the FGT into the Trailer tomorrow (Sunday) and tie everything down.
Margaret and I plan to push-off on Monday morning early from our house in Bloomfield Hills Michigan...
I plan to arrive at the track mid morning on Wednesday --then on to the hotel somehow with the luggage and FGT !!
