Finally picked up a GT. 2006 Tungsten car

I've wanted one since 2005, when I saw the Tungsten color scheme I knew that was the exact one I wanted. Finally decided to pull the trigger and found a really nice car local at Southlake Motor cars right north of Dallas Tx. Already ordered GTG parts to lower it, short throw shifter, Brixton Forged wheels and some sport cup 2's. Need to figure out an exhaust solution I'm happy with soon, the car sounds great but needs more volume.

Car looks great! Welcome. Lots of good options for the exhaust. Just do a search on the forum for more info and opinions than you can absorb.

Congrats, on your new GT. Most have gone with x-pipe exhaust for weight savings but Borla has nice exhaust for GT similar to original optional Ford Racing muffler no longer available. I have seen both Accufab and Stillen x-pipe but prefer Stillen based on mounting arrangement.

Thanks, we actually have a bunch of mutual friends in Houston. I remember watching your car roll through the omni parking lot at 2k with the crazy cams.

Headers are a must if you can get away with them in your state. Not only do they look great in the engine compartment, but they sound awesome. Easy to install on the GT too. Get them Jet Hot coated.
