Many of the vipers that get great et's have heavily modified drivetrains with trans brakes, full on drag automatic trans and the independent rear suspension changed to a sold axle, they are essentially 1/4 mile cars.

Thanks Very Much for the Compliments ...... :cheers

Its Truly Amazing how tame it is on the street...

Esp here in Texas where its pretty hot most of the time...

I run the AC and cruise around pretty regularly...

No Heating problems or drivability problems whatsoever...

As far as gettig the car to hook up on the street , its a matter
of throttle modulation :)....
But if one wants to , smoking the tires at 90mph is an easy task

I didn't think it was posssible to have a streetable car run in the 8's, especially with a stick. Is it tight in the driver compartment with a cage. Does the car have all of the safety equip required by NHRA or IHRA to run in the 8's. If you don't mind listing a few I would be very interested

I understand your thinking...

I didn't think it was possible until we took the car out and on
the first time to the track ran multiple 8-second passes..

The car does not have a cage..
We took the car out of the shop , loaded it on the trailer ,
went to the track and ran it..

We expected it would be fast and were pleasantly suprised
when it ran the number.

The car is truly a street car in all respects and mannerism's.

It doess have five-point harnesses and I might cage it.
Just dont know if I want to continue with tracking the car
vs street crusing..

Jerry..

Thanks for the info. The issue with the cage and other equip, here in Crazy Cali, is that its hard to find a place to run without them.

Not soo much fun..

We ran it in Bradenton.... No problems there..
