To the folks @ Ferrari that actually acquiesced to the greens, I say $%^K off. This is exactly what the environment needs; a $300,000 hybrid. Bite me and anyone else who wants to get in line behind me.
When I see the various hi $$ Euro hybrids (BMW's X6, Porsche's Cayenne, MB's S Class) I have to ask myself "what are the potential buyers thinking?" You could buy a gas station for all the dough you waste getting a hi end hybrid for 3 more MPGs.

I wouldn't say they are selling out at all. I am not happy with my Tesla, but it IS very fast. Testing the water and getting some knowledge and experience now could add a lot of potential performance down the road. If they ultimatly go for a capacitor type solution that charges up at a stop light and gives 200 more horses when the light goes green, that's worth looking at. Some may say it's not true power, but I'd say those nay-sayers are living in the past, go get a quarter horse if you want to stay in the past.

I agree with you but according to the article this thing goes faster than the standard F599 by .6 sec 0-125. and The technology did come from F1.

The idea is kind of foriegn to me but who knows...
