Couldn't OEM stripes be considered two-tone?

Chip Foose had more to do with Ford GT than people realize.

I totally agree. It's the same as an autographed book that's signed to someone. It's only worth something to that person. An author-signed first edition of a book often brings a premium, not so when it's signed to another person. Since Carroll signed so many things over so many years, not sure how much, if any, premium his signature is worth. That's just my opinion.

GT may never have been without CF. That's what makes it so cool that he has one. Just shocked that he didn't pick one up before now.

Do tell! I never knew this. I don't recall reading about Chip Foose involvement in my Ford GT books; maybe I missed it. I would love to hear more about the Ford GT/Chip Foose connection.

I'll say again for the umpteenth time: Man, I wish Ford would build that '49...w/o the 'bean counters' making this-and-that penny-pinching CHANGE that'll screw is looks all up...with a 'REAL' engine option box to check off (as in STOUT V-8, not just ho-hum V-6s and four bangers).

DANG, I like that car...:willy

Just found this video on IG. Knew he was a car enthusiast, but didn't know he was a GT owner. For those that have no idea who he is, Ludacris is a rapper/actor. Unfortunately, he refers to it as a GT40:frown

Sammy Hagar, Michael Anthony, Nicholas Cage, Kid Rock had...don't know if any still have.

I think Nicholas Cage lost his GT & most of his property in his tax problems with Uncle Sam!

We are lucky owning these beautiful piece of arts and I would love to know which famous people also has the same good taste as we do!?!?
People look at me when I drive my GT like if a was some kind of a Rock Star!
To be honest I do feel like a Rock Star behind the wheel because they are a very RARE sight here.

So to my question, which famous people also owns or at least have had a GT.

I have found out that these have/had GTs.

*Jay Leno ( Red/White )
*Horacio Pagani ( Heritage )
*Felix Baumgartner ( Red/White )
*Jenson Button ( White/Blue )
*Jeremy Clarkson ( Blue/white )
*Kazunori Yamauchi ( Tungsten )

Jeremy Clarkson has sold that one long time ago ! Maybe he has another one, i have the info from a guy working at Top Gear on a management rank.
But in Switzerland we have a celeb. with has one, Juerg Marquard, owner of periodical "Cosmopolitan" with a red one with white stripes.

I thought his may have been stolen and chopped up.

I thought his may have been stolen and chopped up.

Originally, I thought so - but later news seemed to imply that it belonged to someone else in Rancho Santa Fe. At any rate, if it was his, I believe he got a replacement.
