Driving events?

Will there be driving events for the rally? We have a couple guys on the fence on shipping their cars...... Thx

No Track events. Driving to activities Yes.

There is no "track day" but there WILL be driving activities. I strongly encourage you to bring your car. They are integral to the event.

This will be my 10th rally, I attended R2 and R3 with out our car,1 and 4-10 all WITH the car. The rally is way more fun with the car. Suggest strongly for your clients to ship out. Just the pictures alone of flocks of GT's on a highway are worth it.

This will be my 8th Rally. I went twice without. Definitely much more fun with the car, but certainly not bad without.

Driving in a pack of GTs was an amazing experience. There are always some GT owners that want to join the pack in their rental cars, but if you don't bring your GT we will meet at the destination but travel on your own! LOL

I haven't seen an agenda, so thinking about getting a rental rather than shipping the car from Northern California, also haven't a clue on what to pack?

Parade Lap on Low Speed bank track
Robertson Racing GT1 exhibition
Facility director to detail history and purpose of DDC
3 x 15 person shuttles to give 20 minute facility tours,
Mark McGowan + 5 additional Tier 4 drivers to give rides on handling course (Multiple Ford GTs/Mustangs)

As you will remember from Rally 9, I came along as photographer....I'm here again this year, arriving on Sunday afternoon. If anyone would like some private photoshoots of their cars, or themselves and their better halves ;-) on Sunday evening, Monday, or Tuesday before cocktails, please get in touch with me ASAP and we can arrange something that will be very memorable. I'm sure we could figure out some amazing tracking shots car to car in the city or suburbs, or some static images with awesome backdrops.
