Cops in Detroit and in all other local areas are friendly. I can talk cars and guns with my local police.

All a person anywhere needs to do is live by two principals ...
1. don't break the law.
2. If you must break the law and the cops stop you, be polite , friendly , yes sir , no sir, show your CPL with your drivers license and by all means don't run.
Follow these and you will not have an issue here. (or anywhere for that matter)
