I think you will get the option to "preference" one of the limited editions when your ordering window gets closer. Not 100% sure but that seems to be the pattern.

Hello everyone. Sorry for the delay as I had a great weekend planned Tarpon fishing with friends in Boca Grand and Friday before we pulled out to go I received a kick off that couldn't have been better news. My email said July 2019 to December 2019. With a second email asking me to express my preference of a Heritage,Carbon series, or special 2020 NFGT. Oh yeah we did land a fish.What a weekend! Catch & Release!

Awesome! My window is Jan 2022 - July 2022 also. It's a blessing for me as well. Gives me time to save $$$ but I also suspect the price of the car will likely go up each year. Nonetheless, very exciting to get a semi-firm date!

I havent seen anything past 1H2022, but would think they'd need the full year to fulfill the whole second allocation.

I took delivery of my race red / blue stripe GT no. 117 two weeks ago after going to the Multimatics factory to see my car in production. The process was really nice and enlightening. I am having protective coating put on the GT at present(I am waiting the time suggested by the Ford factory to have the protective coating applied to the entire GT).
At delivery, Steve from the Ford factory took his time to explain and demonstrate the features of the GT.
I have titanium exhaust system and the sound emanating from the dual tail pipes is nice.
It has been a long wait, but the look, fit and finish of the GT is exemplary.

I got Jan21 to Jul21... Seems like a clear pattern. I do hope they ask about your preference with respect to the heritage editions as we get closer to the date. Would love a Gulf version to match my 06 but I suspect that if they follow the current heritage release pattern there won't be a gulf version in 2021. Can you ask for a previous year Heritage color? Porsche won LeMans in 1970 with the 917 so it will be interesting to see what Ford does with respect to continuing the heritage series after the 2020 model year.. Any guesses???????????

I believe the Gulf colored Heritage will continue every year but with a different number.

I highly doubt Ford will continue the Heritage after 2020, with or without new numbers. For the final years, Ford should show off their new “heritage” with versions of their modern race liveries. That would be very cool.
