No sale at 1.6 million for the Cena GT. No sale for a 2006 heritage at 475,000. Interesting market at Mecum Monterey

That is all the money for both cars. Sellers should have taken the money and ran.

Agreed - $1.6M with no options is a hefty price tag!!

Thank you. Some sanity shown with that auction.

The 8 mile Mecum car’s owner is now upside down if the market for an unencumbered car is 1.4M. You are right...sanity.

Mecum Auction sold 2017 GT according to Carscoops for the following: Mecum Auctions has sold a 2017 Ford GT for an eye-watering $1.65 million, a sum which rises to $1.815 million with buyers fees included.

Opps, my bad was old link. Hard to keep track of how many times this car has changed hands.

Put your yacht buying plans on hold. This is crazy money. I agree that both the sellers should have taken the money and run. Looks like one did.

I think these cars will settle in under a million.

I would guess you do well with the Mega Millions lottery numbers?

I’m just applying some common sense. 1,000 GTs will be produced.

Less than 24 months we’ll see low mileage GT’s that have been sitting in collections and not driven! How about 10 1/2 months from today! Wait and See!

I spoke to a few people that were present at the auctions and they said a lot of other vehicles were not selling this year. Buyers are realizing the prices are out of control.

That, and the Dow is up over 30% since inauguration day. While I don't want to unleash another torrent of comments from folks who "don't care what their fgt is worth", it is fair to say that when people are thinking about buying an expensive car (or another and another and another expensive car), people do think about alternative places to put that cash!
